- MATHADEMIA is a flagship event by MATH that will pioneer the next generation of entrepreneurs. This one-stop event will feature top educational institutions and their management (colleges and universities), corporates, government and startups to boost innovation through open exchange of ideas.
- With a theme of GenAI, MATHADEMIA aims to promote fresh ideas and offer them the pedestal to flourish, impacting academia for many years to come. The event will serve as a platform for all innovation in education and academia, bringing together the worlds of academia, startups, and corporates.
MATHADEMIA will be the platform to boost innovation through a Startup Showcase and interactive events such as MATHack, a 30-hour hackathon, a AI Quiz, Workshops and Panel Discussions.
Startup Showcase
AI is taking over the world, especially the world of startups. If you are an AI startup with a revolutionary idea that will change the world, MATHADEMIA is where you need to be. With your own stall, you get to showcase your idea to investors, corporates, and innovators.
Putting your idea forward at MATHADEMIA also gets you access to witness the end-to-end tech infrastructure provided at MATH. Here’s what you can get

MATHack is an AI focused, 30-hour offline Hackathon brought to you by MATH (Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence Technology Hub), a Centre of Excellence supported by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India and T-Hub, one of the largest Incubators in the world and Government of Telangana in partnership with TalentFarm.ai
The Hackathon is open for all students, developer community and Startups. You get an opportunity to solve Real Industry Use Cases sponsored by Industry partners. By participating in the hackathon, you get access to Industry mentors, great cash prizes and the opportunity to be incubated at T-Hub.

- Online Prelims
- Register 1 member and answer all questions correctly to qualify
- Preliminary Round - Each team (2 members) will register for the prelims round conducted online
- Once registered, teams will receive a link to take the quiz.
- Based on right answers, 5 teams will receive an invite for the main event

The mode of the Hackathon is offline and the venue will be MATH, T-Hub, Hyderabad on May 16-17.
Problem statements from Industry partners have been sourced. Students, Developers and Startups interested in participating in the Hackathon have to select a problem statement and submit an ideation deck enlisting the solution approach.
Based on the quality of submissions, invite will be sent for participation in the physical hackathon.
The event registration starts from 17th April 2024. The Hackathon Application will be closed by 10 May 2024.
Participation in MATHADEMIA is completely free.
Students, Developers and Startups.
We are flexible with team size. The minimum size of the team is 2 and maximum size 4. However, we would recommend a team size of 3 members.
